Vlogs & the Fractured 24-Hour Feminine Day

i’ve been watching a lot of vlogs lately, because i genuinely enjoy them and value having a window into the precious daily lives of other women, whether they’re different or similar to my own.

it’s been reminding me that the vast majority of women are living their daily lives in experiential fracture, where only a few hours in the day are soul-nourishing and the rest are mostly soul-siphoning.

in this context, a lot of the it girl/hot girl morning/evening routines, aestheticizing/romanticizing your life, slow/soft life etc day patterns and content are a documentation of feminine soul-level coping mechanisms and recovery from her daily/weekly torment within the ‘real world’ reality matrix.

this can be very supportive and necessary. it’s a thousand times better for a woman to carve out a part of her day to fill herself back up, with presence and beauty and rest and anything else that supports her, rather than let her daily siphoning continue into total depletion. however, the same pattern of toil and hustle can subtly shift the routine itself into another bondage before she realizes it.

it’s easy to observe this daily fracture happening to many women in the employee work system, but it’s also just as prevalent for most feminine entrepreneurs, housewives, stay-at-home mothers, homesteaders, combinations of all of these, even wealthy women across these demographics.

the daily routines, tasks, and responsibilities vary widely, but the energetic architecture behind soul-level depletion in a 24-hour cycle remains the same. there is no ideal feminine lifestyle that can universally escape this bondage when it’s embedded into the timelines of life itself. any woman who is imprisoned by the spirit of toil and changes her lifestyle to get free from daily soul-siphoning will find that it re-installs itself into her life in other ways. adding more daily slowness, softness, spaciousness, or structure can help, but it’s not a comprehensive solution.

each woman really needs God to shift her daily cycle of experiential suffering into fully Kingdom days, where the vast majority of her 24 hours get to be soul-nourishing, whether she’s working, mothering, resting, or playing.
